I understand extraordinary circumstances can happen outside of your control; however, I do kindly ask that you give 24-hour notice if you must cancel or reschedule your appointment. Changes or cancellations made after 24-hours are subject to a cancellation fee of 50 % per your booked service.

If you are running late, please notify me as soon as possible. Please note that if you are over 15 minutes late for your appointment, we might have to reschedule your service if it cannot be completed in the remaining time frame and will result in a 50% charge per service made.

Anyone who does not show up for their appointment will be responsible for the full cost of the service. If you cancel less than 1 hour prior to your scheduled appointment time, you will be charged 100% of the service ticket.

A valid credit card must be on file to book all appointments; however, you may pay as you please upon arrival. I strongly suggest pre-booking any refills after your service before leaving the studio to ensure you are able to get an appointment at the time and date needed.

I do not fill over other artists' work. If you are currently having eyelash extensions on from another lash artist, your lash extensions will need to be removed.

If more than 40% of your lashes are detached or grown out it will be considered a new full set of lashes. 2 Week Fills: From the last lash appointment no more than 17 days. Must have a minimum of 50 % of lash extensions remaining. 3 Week Fills: From the last lash appointment no more than 24 days. Must have a minimum of 40 % of lash extensions remaining. 4+ Week Fills: You will need a new full set of lashes. Even if you have great lash retention, lashes need maintenance to ensure your lashes are happy and healthy.

I ask that all cell phones be turned off or on silent in the treatment room. If you are receiving a lash session, I ask that you do not open your eyes to check devices until after your session is complete. This may irritate your eyes during and/or after your session, and also will take time away from your service.

Please thoroughly remove all makeup before coming to your lash appointment. Eyes must be clean and oil free upon arrival otherwise the time spent thoroughly removing your makeup will be deducted from your session and you will still be responsible for the full-service cost.

Please, no children in the treatment room. Eyelash extensions take a lot of concentration and I ask that there are no distractions in the room. I reserve the right to cancel/reschedule an appointment in the event children are present and unsupervised in which case my cancellation policy may take effect.

You will need to lie flat on your back for more than an hour which most pregnant ladies find uncomfortable. 2. There will be changes in hormones, which may cause you to be hypersensitive to things you’ve never had issues with before pregnancy. 3. Hormones during pregnancy will also affect the retention of your lash extensions.

I recommend the following best practices: In the first 24-hours after application, do not clean your lashes and avoid steam and high temperatures. Avoid getting oil-based products on your lash extension, such as makeup removers, creams, face washes, etc. Regardless of whether you wear makeup, clean your lashes every day with an anti-bacterial lash cleanser. Do not rub, pick or pull your lashes. If possible, avoid sleeping on your face. Gently brush lashes with the styling wand provided to you after your appointment. Do not manually curl or perm your lash extensions. Avoid using cotton balls and rounds on your lashes as they will get caught and pull out extensions.

Absolutely. One of the major benefits of having lash extensions is that you look amazing without makeup. If you prefer to add an extra pop of color, you can wear makeup with lash extensions. Please consider the following when doing so: Mascara should not be worn with eyelash extensions. In general, lash extensions should never have makeup products directly applied to them or on the lash line. It is best to avoid oil-based products. Rather, use water-based makeup and makeup removers. All makeup should be thoroughly removed at the end of the day.

Due to the shedding cycle of our natural lashes, we lose, on average, three lashes per day. Therefore, it is highly recommended to schedule your refill appointments every two to three weeks. Longer than three weeks will most likely require a full set appointment.

Dress comfortably. A full set can take up to four hours. Comfortable clothes will allow you to lay down in a relaxed non-restricted manner. Come to your appointment without any makeup around your eye area, including concealers and foundations. Also, do not apply any creams and lotions. If possible, shower before your appointment. Avoiding any unnecessary contact with water or steam for the first 24-hours after your appointment will ensure the best adhesive bond for your lashes. Turn off your cellphone right before the appointment. A ringing phone can trigger the urge to open your eyes. Please refrain from drinking coffee before your appointment. Nearly anyone is a candidate for a lift as long as they have lashes. Starting with healthy lashes will provide the best results. If you’re planning on ongoing lash lift treatments, I will recommend a conditioning lash serum to use in-between visits.

People with chronic dry eye, conjunctivitis, damaged lashes or lashes with gaps (as this treatment may make the gaps more noticeable), active eye infections of any kind, trichotillomania (habitual pulling out of lashes), or who have had recent chemo treatments (you will need to wait at least a year from your last treatment). Pregnancy may also cause the lift not to work. When in doubt, always consult with your physician.

The appointment consists of three steps. First, silicone shields are placed on your closed eyelids. Your lashes are then lifted to the shields, and serum is applied to them. This first serum is used to relax the protein in the lashes, which allows the lashes to take shape and mold onto the shield. Next, a neutralizer is applied to the lashes, which locks the lashes into place and begins conditioning them. The brow area must be completely healed. The lotions can affect the healing and cause injury if applied to an open wound. Exfoliating skin treatments (such as facials and laser facials), and skin products that cause the skin to regenerate quickly (retinol, AHA, BHA, Accutane) can cause the skin to thin out. Clients must wait a minimum of 4 weeks after their skin treatments (or follow the recommendation of their dermatologist), or approximately 6 months if on medication that affects the skin (such as Accutane). Pregnant or Breastfeeding. Hormones are fluctuating during pregnancy and can continue to do so during breastfeeding. Skin is usually more sensitive during this period, and the composition in the hair can change as well. Brow Lamination would not be suitable, as it can cause irritation or injury to the sensitized skin, and results are very unpredictable due to the change in hair.

It is important to take care of your eyebrows after a lamination. To ensure the lamination stays we recommend: Keep brows dry for 24 hours. Do not apply makeup or undertake further eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment. Avoid swimming/sauna/working out for 24-48 hours. Any excess moisture after this time can cause a slight curl/frizz to the brow hair. Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat. Do not apply Retin-A, AHA or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours either side of the treatment. No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior and 48 hours after treatment. In the morning your laminated brows will require styling by brushing and setting in place.

Brow laminations will last for the full natural brow shedding cycle which is typically 6-8 weeks. When the lamination is fully grown out, you can get another treatment. You don’t want to get them too often at risk of overprocessing the brows.

I take all proper precautions for a safe session by using new disposable only products, disposable and sterilized needles and sanitized environment. Although allergic reactions to the pigments are rare, it is possible. I highly suggest a pigment patch test for individuals who have high skin sensitivities or are sensitive to topical makeup products. Patch tests should be performed 5-7 days prior. Additional complications include, asymmetry - although I make every effort to avoid this, keep in mind our faces are not symmetrical so adjustments may be needed during the follow-up session to correct any unevenness. Pigmentation loss can result from poor healing, infection, bleeding and not adhering to my aftercare instructions can affect more than normal retention. ​Although bruising or swelling is not common in some, excessive swelling or bruising can happen. In this case ice packs can help reduce swelling. Slight swelling calms within 3 days.

The average time for permanent makeup procedures takes around 2 ½-3 hours to complete. Time will be spent completing a consultation which includes discussion of your medical history, lifestyle, personality, design, color, and any questions or concerns you may have. The actual tattooing can take between 60 and 90 minutes depending on the tissue response.

If this is the first time having a procedure it is always a two-appointment process. The first appointment when we do a full consultation, discuss what you want to achieve, shape, color etc, fill in medical questionnaire, consent form, go through aftercare and give you your aftercare instructions and aftercare kit to take home with you and then do the treatment or several treatments all at the same time. Approximately 4-6 weeks later you will return for a touch up as there will always be some fade as well as allowing me to put more color in so it lasts longer.

During the initial procedure (first application), the tattooed area(s) will be saturated with as much color as possible. Due to swelling, there may be some areas where the tissue will no longer allow pigment to be implanted. Those areas will show less color after healing and may need another visit to be filled-in (a touch-up). First, the tattooed area must heal before a refinement procedure can be performed. It is best to wait 4 to 6 weeks for complete tissue healing and color stabilization. Once the desired results are achieved, the client can keep the color looking fresh with a maintenance visit 1-2 years.

Immediately following a procedure, there will be mild swelling, redness, or tenderness that lasts a few hours to a few days (eyebrows swell less than eyes and lips). There may also be slight bruising with lip procedures. The color looks much darker immediately afterward for any procedure. It will lighten a lot within 3 to 7 days and will continue to lighten over several weeks. Within 30-40 days you will see the true color as you have had a full cycle of cellular regeneration in which the tattoo has now become part of the dermis.

Typically, you can go back to your everyday life with only minimal restrictions. Most clients go to work the same or the following day and do not feel it is necessary to take time off. All procedures do look bold initially and will be their darkest in the first 48 hours following the procedure. The complete healing process takes about 4-6 weeks.

Every procedure we undergo carries a certain level of risk. Infections and allergic reactions, while not common, can occur. All tattoo artists in the state of Virginia are required to complete the Blood Borne Pathogen certification, which is the standard set to minimize exposure and prevent cross-contamination. All the equipment I use is disposable, and the pigments are of the highest quality in the industry. It is important that you follow the aftercare instructions I provide. These instructions will not only help ensure the best retention of color possible, but will also help reduce the risk of contracting an infection while your skin heals.
